LeaderStat has a new opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a successful Skilled Nursing facility in Omaha, NE.

Registered Nurses are primarily responsible for overseeing day to day patient care by monitoring them, administering medications, updating patient records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients and their families on disease and post-hospital treatment. They ensure quality patient care within a long-term care center, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community. Registered Nurses need to be organized, kind and compassionate, and dedicated to their patients.

Job duties include:

  • Maintaining and restoring health of resident patients
  • Acting as a main point of contact between residents and their families
  • Addressing and preventing concerns from family members
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and making adjustments to patient care plans as needed
  • Ensures their unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care
