    Interim Resident Care Director – Assisted Living Community  

     

    Total Gross Pay Weekly: $2,000 - $2300

    Are you an experienced nurse leader who is open to a short-term contract? A career in long-term care travel nursing may be a great fit for you.  
     
    We’re looking for a hands-on Resident Care Director (RCD) for an Assisted Living (AL) community in the Powell, Ohio area.? 
     
    The incoming AL RCD is responsible for assuring that each resident receives the highest quality of care to achieve the maximum level of function in accordance with their comprehensive plan of care. 
     

    When you join the LeaderStat team as an interim director, you’ll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding, book and pay for travel arrangements, and assist with any questions along the way. 
     
     
    Job Duties 

    • Assumes primary responsibility for oversight of resident care services and administrative operations 

    • Conduct initial and periodic resident assessments 

    • Assess and evaluate resident issues/concerns by coordinating with other staff to ensure quality care 

    • Serve as a liaison between resident, family, physician, and other providers 

    • Manage all clinical aspects of state/federal survey process 

     
     
    Qualifications 

    • Two years of experience as a Resident Care Director or Director of Nursing (DON) in a long-term care setting 

    • Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state assigned or in an eligible Nurse Compact State 

    • Ability to implement new policies, procedures, and programs related to the acuity of residents 

    • Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members 

    • Strong computer literacy and competency skills 

    • Up-to-date clinical compliance 

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR via American Heart Association (AHA) 

    • Two-step TB test 

    • Physical exam within the last 12 months
