We are seeking a motivated Director of Case Management for an acute care facility in Gainesville, Florida!

Gainesville, Florida, founded in 1854, is steeped in rich history and culture, serving as the home of the University of Florida, one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the United States. The city is known for its vibrant arts scene, natural beauty, and outdoor activities, offering attractions like the Florida Museum of Natural History, the Butterfly Rainforest, and the scenic Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park. With a blend of historical landmarks, lush landscapes, and a lively downtown, Gainesville provides a unique experience for residents and visitors alike.

The Director of Case Management is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all department activities, ensuring staff compliance with policies and regulatory standards. The Director leads the integration of patient care and discharge planning across hospital departments and external agencies to ensure continuity of care and efficient resource utilization. This role requires management of daily case management operations and achievement of key outcomes through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. As a registered nurse, the Director must have strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, along with the ability to motivate teams, drive results, and manage change. The position demands an individual who is proactive, can handle multiple priorities, and navigate conflict with diplomacy while adapting to evolving needs.

What qualifications will you need:
 
  • At least 2 years of recent (within the last 2 years) large acute care director of case management experience only.  
  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • Master’s degree in nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration, preferred
  • Need to be an RN. LCSW certification is not accepted

Salary Base: $110K-$130K
