    We are searching for a motivated Manager of Surgical Services in an acute care facility in Coos Bay, Oregon!
    Coos Bay, Oregon, has a rich maritime history that dates to the mid-19th century, when it became a vital shipping port for timber and other goods. Today, visitors can explore attractions like the Coos History Museum, which showcases the region's heritage, and enjoy outdoor activities at nearby Shore Acres State Park, known for its stunning coastal gardens and breathtaking ocean views. The bustling waterfront area also features charming shops, restaurants, and art galleries that reflect the local culture.

    Job Summary
    Responsible for daily and overall operation of assigned units, including staff performance, patient care processes and outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and prudent resource management.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES


     
    • Able to read, write legibly, and converse effectively in the English language
    • Strong nursing knowledge and skills in clinical area(s) of responsibility
    • Exercises good judgment, demonstrates effective critical thinking skills
    • Flexible, able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently
    • Works effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements/situations
    • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

    Required Education 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing or related field or currently working to obtain - Required
    • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
    • Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon - Required 
      • Facility will do contingent offers for nurses without an Oregon license. Licensing process is taking 2-3 weeks.
    • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field - Preferred
    • Specialty certification in area of responsibility - Preferred
    • Five years experience in acute care hospital in past 10 years - Required
    • Two years managerial or leadership experience in past 5 years - Required

    Salary Base: $105K- $140K, $10K Sign-on and Relocation Assistance
