    We are searching for a motivated Manager of Burn Trauma ICU in an acute care facility in Plano, TX!
    Plano, Texas, a suburban city in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has evolved from a small farming community into a bustling urban center. Established in the 1840s, it experienced significant growth in the late 20th century due to its proximity to Dallas and its burgeoning technology sector. Attractions in Plano include the historic downtown area with its charming shops and eateries, the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve offering trails and scenic views, and the Plano Balloon Festival, an annual event that showcases vibrant hot air balloons.     Job Summary

    The Nurse Manager has 24/7 accountability and responsibility for a defined patient care area to provide a climate optimal for the provision of individualized goal directed nursing care that supports the mission, vision and values of the facility and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing. The nurse manager is expected to provide an environment where nurses practice autonomously utilizing evidence-based practices. The Nurse Manager is responsible for planning and providing individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for and supports the nursing staff’s primary commitment to protect the health, safety, and rights of the individual, family or community.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Must have a minimum of five years' of acute care experience as an RN in the BURN or Trauma ICU & 2 years of acute care BURN or Trauma ICU RN Leadership experience in the ICU.
    • Texas State RN license or Compact is accepted.
    • National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
    • BLS/ACLS is required.
    • BSN is required - MSN is preferred.
    • Trauma experience is highly preferred.
    Salary Base: $84K- $127K
