    ABOUT THE JOB
    We are looking for an Interim Director of Surgical Services for a 3-month assignment with an Acute Care facility close too beautiful Danville, VA.

    The Interim Director of Surgical Services plans, directs and evaluates department functions, in accordance with established philosophy.
     responsible for orientation, training, assessment, and management of personnel.
    Relates effectively with all shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and physicians; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.


    QUALIFICATIONS
     
    • ·Nursing Degree from an accredited university/college required
    • ·Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
    • ·Masters Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
    • ·3-5 years recent experience in an acute care clinical setting required 
    • ·3 years management of a related clinical setting required 
    • ·Current Virigina Nursing License or compact Licensure Agreement required
    • ·Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required 
       

    PAY PACKAGE DETAILS
    Up to $3000/week total gross pay weekly + lodging, travel expenses and meal per diem will be covered
