Executive Chef sought for funky and charming Senior Living property just a few blocks away from the beach in the Santa Cruz area of northern California.

Ideal opportunity for an experienced chef leader who knows creative methods to follow dietary restrictions while still serving mouth-watering meals that appeal to the eyes as well as the stomach. 

Executive Chef responsibilities:

• You'll lead and mentor a team
• You'll be the face of the dining program meeting and building relationships with the community's residents
• You will also oversee kitchen staffing, handle budget control and manage inventory for the community dining program
• Menus will be yours to develop, prepare and approve, keeping resident needs and dietary restrictions in mind
• You will keep an eye out for talent in your team and encourage their development and career growth
• Have a full understanding of HACCP requirements
• Be able to earn ServSafe certification
• Reports are also a part of the process, and so computer savvy and reliability are essential to ensure that management understands your department's progress.

• You'll earn stable pay in the $85-95K range, with the top end being reserved for those with stable tenure in prior jobs and a track record of success
