    We are searching for a motivated Director of Emergency Services in an acute care facility in Sanford, NC!

    Sanford, North Carolina, established in the mid-1800s, has a rich history rooted in the railroad and agricultural industries. Known as the "City of Progress," Sanford is home to a variety of attractions, including the Carolina Trace, a scenic lake community, and the Lee County Heritage Center, which highlights the region's cultural and historical legacy. Visitors can also enjoy local parks, historic downtown shopping, and a vibrant arts scene that showcases the city’s community spirit and Southern charm.

    The Director of Emergency Services organizes, directs, and supervises the functions of clinical and procedural units within the Emergency Department. This includes policy and procedures are followed; safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed. Develops, implements, and manages the department budget. Engages in ongoing quality and performance improvement, invests in lifelong learning for staff professional development and assures employees complete required annual competencies.

    What qualifications will you need:
    Must-Haves
    1. Bachelor’s degree of Nursing (BSN) is required
    2. Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state) 
    3. American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required
    4. Minimum of three years supervisory experience (Manager role or above) in the Emergency Department required

    Nice-To-Haves
    1. Master's degree (MSN, MHA, etc.) is preferred
    2. Experience working in a community hospital Emergency Department is preferred

    Salary Base: $110K-$125K
