Chief Clinical Officer
Guardian Healthcare seeks a dynamic, innovative and inspirational Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to champion quality, guide clinical effectiveness and cultivate an environment of excellence.  This forward-looking position will integrate care and provide strategic leadership to clinicians in skilled nursing, home health, hospice, advanced practice nursing and pharmacy.

Guardian Healthcare is a $600MM privately-owned, regional healthcare organization that has more than 25 years of committed service to the post-acute industry serving over 5,000 skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living units. With a complete complement of ancillary support services for its facilities, Guardian is poised for continued success by focusing on strategic care initiatives for all of the communities it serves.  The organization is known for its commitment to providing care that meets the needs of individuals in many markets not served by other providers.   

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the position will integrate and align care across the system.  Clinical excellence, program development and care redesign will be key priorities for the incoming CCO.  A successful Chief Clinical Officer is one that is visible and understands the measurement of our success happens at the bedside and in the quality results achieved. They will be a decisive and outstanding communicator and have a keen ability to build relationships across the organization.

Chief Clinical Officer qualifications include:

  • Previous experience as a Chief Clinical Officer is strongly preferred. 
  • Evidence of progressive experience in nursing leadership at the system level with comfort in the patient care setting is required. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing or Business is required. 
  • Experience with advanced practice nurses, medical staff leadership and home/ community-based health are preferred.
