April McLain, MBA, RN, HACP, and Hospice RN Consultant has more than 38 years of experience in healthcare including regulatory compliance and survey preparation. She has held clinical as well as executive management positions in Nursing, Quality Management, and Regulatory Compliance, and most recently as a Healthcare Organization Surveyor. She has assisted organizations with regulatory compliance by conducting mock surveys and providing standards interpretation of CMS and other accrediting agency standards. April has a degree in Nursing from Marion Technical College and Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration and Master’s degree in Business administration from Franklin University. She is nationally certified in healthcare accreditation (HACP).
