Our typical search process is very detailed. LeaderStat’s basic strategy is flexible and can be adapted to meet your specific needs. We do all of the work so that you, the client, need only select from a qualified pool of candidates whom you would like to interview.

Understand the needs of the client

First, we learn about the goals and vision of your organization. Then, we gather detailed information about the requirements of the position you are looking to fill. With this clear understanding of your needs and your culture, we begin the process of finding the candidates that match the position profile.

First, we start the search by reviewing our own extensive resources for long term care professionals. We have thousands of resumes from long term care professionals, from Nurse Managers to Executive Vice Presidents to CEOs. We also source candidates online to find new talent. In addition, your position will be posted on several reputable websites where candidates can email or call LeaderStat to learn more about your opportunity.

Networking

Our decades of experience in the long term care field opens many doors for us as we network with our professional colleagues. We know “who’s who” in this tight knit community and have easy access to the “best and the brightest”. We turn these valuable contacts into leads on qualified candidates that we can bring to your organization.

Communication

Your LeaderStat recruiter will communicate with you frequently and provide weekly updates on our recruiting activities. Our staff stays in touch via email and phone calls to give you status reports on possible candidates.

Telephone Interview

After speaking with an interested candidate, we conduct an in-depth telephone interview. Then background and work experience information is gathered from these interested candidates. A written summary of the interview is then sent to the client along with the candidate's resume. At this point, the client will telephone those candidates that have the appropriate qualifications and experience.

In Person Candidate Interviews

Following the telephone interview process, the client selects the candidates that they would like to interview in person. We make all of the arrangements for the interviews and coordinate scheduling and travel plans. Following these face-to-face interviews, the client identifies candidates that can be moved through the process to the second and final interviews.

Reference Check

Following the first interview with the client, we check the professional references provided by the candidate. We typically check at least three professional references. A written summary of these references is then sent to the client.

Background Check

At this point in the process, the recruiter will get written permission from the candidate to perform an extensive background check, if applicable. Copies of the following verifications will be sent to you: OIG Sanctions List, national criminal background check, licensure verification, and educational verification.
