The Erickson School offers an M.A. in the Management of Aging Services (MAgS) that is designed to help today's leaders meet the challenges and opportunities presented by an aging society. The 15-month program is designed for executives and managers. The school is located on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Federation of affiliated state health organizations, together representing more than 10,000 assisted living, nursing facility, developmentally-disabled, and subacute care providers that care for more than 1.5 million elderly and disabled individuals nationally. AANAC - American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators. Professional organization dedicated to supporting clinicians who are involved in the Resident Assessment Instrument/Minimum Data Set (RAI/MDS) process. (www.aanac.org)
JCAHO - Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization. The Joint Commission accredits and certifies more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States; their accreditation and certification is nationally recognized as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
